The 24 Hours of Freedom Relay provides an opportunity for you to raise money and awareness for the Freedom for Life Foundation, while enjoying a day (and a night) running in beautiful wilderness settings. All donations support the foundation in its efforts to introduce people with disabilities to outdoor sports and recreation.
To encourage this fund-raising aspect, the 24 Hours of Freedom Relay has kept the team registration fee at a reasonable rate which goes to pay the expenses of the 24-hour+ race. In support of Freedom For Life we have incorporated a fundraising component into the Relay. Each team, in addition to the registration fee, is responsible for fundraising a minimum of $240, which will be due on or before race start. For example, on a 12-person team this is only an additional $20 per athlete.
After we receive your donation, a thank you note is sent directly to your attention and can be used as a receipt to enable you to deduct the donation properly in your taxes.
We strongly encourage you to raise donations for the Freedom for Life Foundation above and beyond your minimum contribution.
