Dates & Deadlines - 24 Hours of Freedom
Arizona's Premier Team Relay Race

The inaugural running of the 24 Hours of Freedom Relay will be held in mid-April, 2009. The race will begin on a Friday and the Awards ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm on the next day -- Saturday. Dates and specific locations will be announced through our e-newsletter (below).

Start Times
The 2009 relay will begin in two waves, with the first wave starting at 5am and the second at 7am. The wave in which a given team starts in depends on their anticipated speed on the course. Team captains may request which wave they would like their team to start in, however the final decision is up to race management.

The official starting times will be posted on the Teams Page in 2009. Starting Time determination of the Race Director is final. Failure to start at your designated time may result in disqualification or time penalty. All team members must be present at the starting line until your first runner begins!

Race Check-In
Teams must Check-In to finalize registration, turn in waivers, check safety equipment and receive final instructions and route information. Check in for your wave begins one hour prior to your wave. Team captains must also attend a pre-race briefing with the Race Director 20 minutes prior to their wave and must be checked in at that point
